OVERVIEW
  
The DCP-8045D offers the same features and functions as the DCP-8040 plus a multi-purpose tray and automatic duplexing for 2-sided printing, copy output and receiving faxes. Its standard 250-sheet paper tray capacity can be increased to 500-sheets by adding the optional 2nd paper tray. If 32MB standard memory capacity is not enough, you do have the option of increasing its total memory capacity to 160MB.

2. Maximum Scanning resolution with Windows XP is limited to 1200 x1200 dpi (resolutions up to 9600 x 9600 dpi can be selected using the Brother Scanner Utility).
3. Dedicated "Scan to" key(s) do not function in the Mac Operating Systems.
4. Scanning only available for Mac OS 10.2.1 or greater.
