Windows Media Player 9.0 is a free program that allows you play windows media files. VLC Player is a free application that plays most video formats. Real Player is a free media player that plays Real Media formats as well as many other popular formats.
WeatherPop is a free application that displays the weather in your menu bar. Net News Wire is a free program that crawls the webs new RSS networks. Network Statistics is a free program that allows you to view the incoming and outgoing network traffic. Feed Ticker is a shareware program that allows you to view one or more RSS feeds in a ticker-style scroller across your desktop. Temp Monitor allows you to monitor system temps on certain Mac computers. Mac Tracker is a free application that displays all the Macintoshes ever built as well as their add-ons. Memory Stick is a free program that allows you to view your Mac's system memory usage. Mail Applet is a free program that will monitor your Mail account's inbox and display a small, customizable pop-up notification when e-mail is received. Time Left is a free program that monitors the battery in your iBook or Powerbook and lets you know how much time you've got left.
Remote Desktop Connection is a free program that connects your Mac to any RDC enabled Windows based computer. Window Shade is a shareware program that will give you some more control over your Mac OS X windows including bringing back some features from OS 9. X-Assist is a free application that offers an OS 9 like finder in your menu bar. Thumbs Up is a free program that allows you to make thumbnails of any pictures. Mac Janitor is a free program for those who do not leave their OS 10.2 based machine on all the time. It will run the system maintenance commands that would normally run during the night and keep your Mac in tip-top condition. Calculator Plus is a free program that adds a scientific calculator to your Macintosh. Snap and Drag is a free program that will make thumbnails of almost any picture. Alpha Baby is a free program that helps teach children their ABC's and 123's by displaying big numbers and letters on your display as the corresponding buttons are pushed on the keyboard. There is even options to speak the letters and numbers as well as display custom images. Archer is a free program that allows you to organize pictures and display slide shows on your Macintosh computer. Checkbook is a shareware program that keeps a checkbook register on you Mac.
